Peace Fest 09 was the second annual capstone event organized and sponsored by Peace Train. The objective of this multi-day event was to raise awareness about and some funds for a few key peace-building organizations. To do this, we used the environment of Second Life (and other technologies) to connect people and conduct live events - live music, performances of various sorts, art auctions, and live panel presentations and discussions from speakers from around the world.
