TO BE EDITED

An updated list of things we need!

1. Translators; we have some notecards that we'd like to have translated into european languages (french, italian, dutch, german, spanish, portuguese, swedish, danish, russian, etc.) and asian languages (sanskrit, japanese, chinese, korean).

2. Machinimists; would like a small team of highly creative people who know how to make machinima. We have some short scripts for youtube commercials we would like to put out there, and would also love to have events captured during PeaceFest

3. Greeters; we need a core team, globally distributed, that will be hosts on the various sims during the event.

More to comeā€¦.

There are a number of ways to get involved:

1. Spread the word. Share this site with your friends. We will soon have a larger web presence (we hope!), but for now, we will keep these pages updated as the Peace Train team continues its work.

2. Join the Peace Train group in Second Life.

3. Identify artists, performers, musicians or other donors you know that might like to donate their craft, artwork, or lindens to the effort. Let Tonks, Siri or Cotton know!

4. Help with the logistics of this: We will certainly need people to help us figure out the technical aspects of delivering events to the SL populous globally, and with brainstorming and coordinating the very best ways to make this accessible, manageable and maximally effective in terms of an enjoyable experience for attendees and performers alike. Ultimately, their success will be ours, as that will translate to donations.

5. Attend a Peace Train meeting. For the moment, these are happening at Cedar Island, at the home of Tonks Akina, on Saturdays at 9am SLT.

6. We need more global representation. If you are from an African, Asian, or Eastern European country, we would love to have you involved, especially.

7. Translators: we are creating marketing materials, logos, etc. for this event and would love to have translators help us with the Second Life notecards and slogan translations for real-life materials.

As our planning progresses, this list will become more detailed.
