Following is a list of things we need as we identify, plan and create the events we sponsor:

1. Web developer:  While we own a domain, we do not have an official site!  Need advice / services related to this - would like to incorporate links to our PayPal account, and CafePress (or other) branded items.  Open to using commercially available technology (i.e. not home-grown...).

2. Translators; we sometimes have notecards that we'd like to have translated into european languages (french, italian, dutch, german, spanish, portuguese, swedish, danish, russian, etc.) and asian languages (sanskrit, japanese, chinese, korean).

3. Machinimists; would like a small team of highly creative people who know how to make machinima. We have some short scripts for youtube commercials we would like to put out there, and would also love to have events captured during the events we sponsor.

4. Greeters; we need a core team, globally distributed, that will be hosts on the various sims during the events.  You don't have to join our group, as long as we just have your av names...

5. Marketers:  we are looking for folks who could bring creative energy to marketing events we sponsor. There is also an element of networking with other organizations, and of finding the different ways we can get the word out about our work.

6. Speakers:  I'm always looking for some interested and interesting people to interview; these interviews are done in the style of a radio show, and audiences within Second Life attend, see images to go along with, and ask questions (in text or voice).  If you are someone or know someone that should be considered, please do let me know at acarson1 (at) gmail.com.

7.  University connections:  I'm looking for groups in universities that may be interested in volunteering work for Peace Train as part of a 'virtual practicum' - a chance to apply peace-building, business, fundraising, marketing, project leadership, etc. skills in a structured way.

There are a number of other ways to get involved:

1. Spread the word. Share this site with your friends. We will soon have a larger web presence (we hope!), but for now, we will keep these pages updated as the Peace Train team continues its work.

2. Join the Peace Train group in Second Life.

3. Identify artists, performers, musicians or other donors you know that might like to donate their craft, artwork, or lindens to the effort. Let Siri or Cotton know!
